\"\"Meng\u00fcta\u015f Language School started its educational facilities on 16th December 2013. Up to now, our center has taught Turkish to more than 500 graduate and post-graduate students and has enabled them to start their education at universities in our country. In addition, from 2013 our center organizes the courses such as English, Chinese, Arabic, Persian, Russian and Japanese as foreign languages.<\/p>\n

AIMS of the Foundation<\/b><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Our centre has the following aims:<\/span><\/p>\n

– To teach Turkish , to open branches to advertise Turkey and Turkish culture , to teach Turkish to foreigners , Turkish children abroad and people willing to learn Turkish.<\/p>\n

\"\"– To carry out mutual educational, instructional, research, practice and publication activities with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Education , and other public institutions within the framework of mutual agreements signed by the Turkish Government.<\/p>\n

–\u00a0To start courses for instructors and teachers assigned by the Ministry of Education and the related ministries to teach Turkish within the country and abroad; to provide training facilities, to prepare guides about the countries they will work in.<\/p>\n

– To give rewards to the instructors and teachers within the country and abroad to encourage them to teach Turkish better and to advertise Turkey.<\/p>\n

–\u00a0To organize courses for students who come to our country with state scholarships from Turkish Republics within the framework of the Great Student Project; private students from Turkish communities and students from European, Asian, African\u00a0 and Middle East countries who wish to study in Turkey and foreigners who are in Turkey for trade-industry and diplomatic purposes.<\/p>\n

\nTurkish Rapid Training Course for Central Asian Turkic people
\nTurkish Rapid Training Course for Turkic people from Azerbaijan, Iran, Iraq and Syrian
\nPreparation for English Exams:<\/span> TOEFL, IELTS, TOEIC, YDS English Preparation, Y\u00d6K Language Preparation, GRE, GMAT & SAT
\nYDS Preparation:<\/span> English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, Russian, Japanese, Arabic & Persian
\nSpecial Purpose Language Programs:<\/span> Diction, Ottoman Turkish, Uyghur and other Turkic Dialects
\nPrivate Lesson Programs:<\/span> Private lessons are given at the most suitable tuition fees in all the above-mentioned foreign language or exam preparation education areas.<\/p>\n

Fields Of Activity<\/b><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

–\u00a0To prepare programmes and develop methods on the instruction and teaching of Turkish as a mother language, to carry out coordinated activities on this with the related national and foreign institutions<\/p>\n

–\u00a0To carry out studies to develop language teaching methods used in the Turkish Language and Literature.<\/p>\n

– To prepare films and videos and to publish books and booklets that advertise Turkey and teach Turkish with the collaboration of the Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry of Culture and TRT.<\/p>\n

–\u00a0To provide vocational practice courses for the graduates and senior students of Turkish Language.<\/p>\n

–\u00a0To carry out comparative studies between Turkish and other foreign languages to make Turkish language teaching more productive.<\/p>\n

–\u00a0To carry out research and practice on language teaching methods.<\/p>\n

–\u00a0To organize short adaptation courses for Turkish children living abroad so that they can learn Turkish better.<\/p>\n

–\u00a0To do translations in various languages and to have interactions with state institutions about this.<\/p>\n

\"\"Meng\u00fcta\u015f Teaching Methods<\/span>
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

As in all the other departments of Meng\u00fcta\u015f, the total method as a kind of eclectic method that we apply in the different language department teaching activities has been proven throughout the world, to be competent and valid.<\/p>\n

The aim is to enable the students to achieve the four basic language skills, which are the listening comprehension, reading comprehension,oral and written expression, without neglecting the grammar. In this way we ensure the students are able to learn equally the six basic skills of language, grammar, reading, listening, dictation, writing and speaking. We closely monitor the world developments in the language teaching area and the newest and most advanced methods are examined and adapted to the teaching of foreign language.<\/p>\n

The Devices Used in Education<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

In Turkish Education in Meng\u00fcta\u015f, a series of books named \u201cYabanc\u0131lar i\u00e7in Turk\u00e7e\u201d (\u2018Turkish for Foreigners\u2019) are used. These are prepared by the teachers of our school, and are used in all levels of Turkish education, along with extra resources prepared by the Turkish department. In the advanced level, daily news articles from newspapers and articles from magazines are studied. Some audio-visual devices prepared according to the levels, are used regularly throughout the lessons.<\/p>\n

\"kurumsal\"<\/a>Teaching Staff<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

All of our teachers are graduates of foreign\u00a0Linguistics and the foreign\u00a0Language and Literature department. Our teachers have also all achieved their Master\u2019s Degree in Foreign Language. Our experienced teaching staff are well-versed in teaching foreign\u00a0as a foreign language, due to many years of experience.<\/p>\n
